Eighty One is featuring a flight of Macallan whiskies paired with three dishes from the restaurant. With 12-, 15-, and 18-year old varieties, diners can get bruschetta with salumi, yellowtail tuna taratare, and a macadamia fudge brownie. The pairing is available at the bar and costs $30. SUSHISAMBA 7 has launched a kid's menu. The $12 bento boxes come with a choice of entrees like samba sliders and sushi balls; kids also get soy crayons and chopsticks to take home and virgin fruit juice concoctions made with blueberry, coconut, and guava juices. In addition to a $28 prix-fixe menu at lunch, Allegretti in the Flatiron district offers a prix-fixe dinner menu available from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. July 25
Grapegetaways.com will carry weekend wine warriors out to Long Island to sample plenty of reds and whites at three diverse wineries with at least one stop at a local farm stand. Bus leaves at 9:30 AM and returns at 6:30PM. Cost is $125.

Edible Brooklyn and Edible Manhattan sponsor a beer fest in Brooklyn at BAM Cafe on 30 Lafayette Ave from 4pm-8pm. Tickets are $45. The goal, they say, is to provide an incredible selection of great Brooklyn beers including Brooklyn Brewery, Sixpoint Craft Ales and Sly Fox and pair that with great food from Gramercy Tavern, Co. pizzeria, Porchetta, Ici, and others.
